Platinum Driveline USA Names Chris Jackson Executive Vice President

Jackson comes to Platinum Driveline with more than 25 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket, including as past president of AMS Automotive, where he oversaw day-to-day operations, including the development of the RhinoPac clutch program, along with the other branded AMS programs.

Platinum Driveline USA has announced the appointment of Chris Jackson as executive vice president. Jackson will be responsible for driving Platinum Driveline’s growth and brand development, as well as assisting in the expansion of the company’s strategic initiatives in North America.

Based in Eureka, Missouri, Platinum Driveline is a supplier of premium automotive clutch kits and other driveline components throughout North America.

Jackson comes to Platinum Driveline with more than 25 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket, including as past president of AMS Automotive, where he oversaw day-to-day operations, including the development of the RhinoPac clutch program, along with the other branded AMS programs.

Jackson also founded Ovis Industries, a research, engineering and design firm that developed new no-core flywheels and a comprehensive lineup of class 6-8 clutches and related components.

“I am excited to return to the automotive aftermarket and join with Platinum Driveline as the company continues an amazing growth pattern set in place by Bob Insalaco,” said Jackson.

Jackson was inducted into the Automotive Sales Counsel in 2013. He earned a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University at age 21. He also was a collegiate athlete at Southeast Missouri State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration.

“Chris brings a reputation as a strong leader who is well-known in the automotive aftermarket. He and I worked together for over two decades and I am pleased that he has joined Platinum Drive,” said Robert Insalaco, CEO of Platinum Driveline.
