Charley Johnson is president, CEO and director of Proliance International, Inc. based in New Haven, CT. Johnson joined Proliance (which was formed by the July 2005 merger of Transpro, Inc. and Modine Aftermarket Holdings) in March 2001, ending a broad search for a new CEO of Transpro. The company’s customers include the leaders in aftermarket automotive distribution, such as AutoZone, NAPA, Advance, Pep Boys, O’Reilly and CARQUEST, among others. Delco Remy to Offer Electrical System Warranty Services at TravelCenters of America
Remy Inc. has announced an exclusive agreement with TravelCenters of America (TA) to enable its customers to access Delco Remy warranty services through TA’s network of company-operated and franchise Truck Service locations. The expanded Delco Remy parts and warranty access, which will began March 1, builds on the proven success of the TA service program, through which 157 North American locations serve as major referral points for emergency and roadside repairs, warranty service and preventive maintenance.
Transpro Names New Executive VP and New VP of Business Integration
Transpro has added two new positions to its management team. FleetPride Exec Gordon Ulsh Becomes New President and CEO at Exide Technologies
The board of directors of Exide Technologies, a producer and recycler of lead-acid batteries, has appointed Gordon Ulsh as the company’s new president and CEO, effective April 2. He succeeds Craig Muhlhauser, who is leaving the company after successfully leading Exide out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
