Cummins broke ground last week on its first fuel systems plant outside North America. Cummins Fuel Systems – Wuhan will be the company’s 13th production facility in China and is expected to begin production early next year. Volkswagen AG’s commercial vehicle unit wants to be a full-range supplier, the unit’s chief executive said Tuesday. "It makes sense to be a full-range supplier," CEO Bernd Wiedemann said just before the annual International Automobile exhibition.
