One of the last vestiges of the BFGoodrich name in the Akron, OH, area is going away with yesterday’s announcement that Michelin North America (MNA) will close its specialty competition tire production facility in Mogadore, OH. MNA said it will move production of rock crawling and race tires to its Tuscaloosa, AL, plant.
