American Car Care Centers Inc. (ACCC) announced that Len Lewin will lead the company as chief executive officer, effective Oct. 1.
Lewin has been president and chief operating officer of ACCC since 1994. The marketing group currently has 19 member distributors and 1,096 independent dealer locations in 45 states.
ACCC has also appointed Ben Kravitz as its new chairman of the board of directors, effective Oct. 1. Kravitz is the president of Brockton, MA-based Summit Tire. He replaces John Boyle, who had been chairman the past two years.
An ACCC member distributor since 1999, Summit Tire operates three distribution centers serving Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island and eastern Connecticut. The tire distributor also operates seven retail stores and carries American Radial, Michelin, BFGoodrich, Uniroyal, Continental, General, Delta, Falken and Yokohama brands.
