Barnes is the former senior vice president of merchandising, pricing, global sourcing, marketing and inventory and demand planning at CARQUEST. Prior to joining CARQUEST in 2009, Barnes spent more than 20 years at AutoZone. In his new role at Delphi, Barnes will be responsible for growing the global independent aftermarket business with a strong focus on the customer with regard to all aspects of the business including parts, diagnostics and service solutions.

Federal-Mogul Board of Directors Elects Michael Broderick CEO, Global Aftermarket Division

The Board of Directors of Federal-Mogul Corp. today announced the election of Michael Broderick to the position of chief executive officer (CEO), Federal-Mogul Aftermarket Division, effective June 25. Broderick will fill a role that was established in March when the Federal-Mogul Board of Directors announced its decision to modify the company’s corporate structure to create a separate and independent aftermarket division.

AAIA Elects Tim Lee Chairman of the Board

The Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) has elected Tim Lee of Lang Distributing, as chairman of the AAIA Board of Directors for 2012-2013. Lee was elected as the new AAIA Chairman during Spring Leadership Days on May 4 in Scottsdale, Ariz. He will replace current chairman Bob Egan of Federal-Mogul on July 1. New officers and board of directors also elected.
