Delphi Appoints Craig Barnes as Vice President for Global Independent Aftermarket

Barnes is the former senior vice president of merchandising, pricing, global sourcing, marketing and inventory and demand planning at CARQUEST. Prior to joining CARQUEST in 2009, Barnes spent more than 20 years at AutoZone. In his new role at Delphi, Barnes will be responsible for growing the global independent aftermarket business with a strong focus on the customer with regard to all aspects of the business including parts, diagnostics and service solutions.

TROY, Mich. – Delphi Product & Service Solutions has announced that Craig Barnes will join Delphi as vice president of the global independent aftermarket, effective July 1. Barnes is the former senior vice president of merchandising, pricing, global sourcing, marketing and inventory and demand planning at CARQUEST, a leading automotive aftermarket distributor in North America.

In his new role at Delphi, Barnes will be responsible for growing the global independent aftermarket business with a strong focus on the customer with regard to all aspects of the business including parts, diagnostics and service solutions.
 
Prior to joining CARQUEST in 2009, Barnes served as vice president of merchandising for brake systems, undercar, global sourcing and quality for AutoZone. During his more than 20-year career at AutoZone, Barnes progressed from counter sales to vice president. He served as a store manager, transportation manager, category manager and director of merchandising prior to his appointment as vice president in 2004.
