Word that Gold Eagle Co., maker of well-known automotive brands such as STA-BIL, HEET and START YOUR ENGINES!, has acquired 303 Products Inc. maker of the 303 brand of protectants, cleaners and associated products, tops this week’s list of most-read stories.
Based in Palo Cedro, Calif., 303 Products manufactures more than 10 premier-quality products offering UV screening and protective treatments, finishes and specialized cleaners for rubber, vinyl, plastics, textiles and finished leathers.
Driven Brands has appointed Jonathan Fitzpatrick as the company’s new president and CEO. He succeeds Kenneth Walker, who is retiring July 6. Driven Brands is the parent of Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting, Meineke Car Care Centers, Econo Lube N’ Tune, AutoQual, Aero Colours, Drive N Style and Tortal.net.
In other news, AutoZone announced that Michael Womack has joined the company as senior vice president, human resources, customer satisfaction. Womack joins AutoZone from Cintas Corp., where he was vice president, human resources and a key member of the leadership team.
Stacy Griggs, director of sales operations for Dayco, has been assigned additional responsibilities in the North American aftermarket organization. These additional responsibilities are all with Dayco’s U.S. Special Markets division, which includes all aftermarket powersports.
And lastly, Delphi Product & Service Solutions announced Malcolm Sissmore will expand his current role as country director, Canada, to assume responsibility for leading sales efforts for telematics, diagnostics and training sales in North America effective July 1.
