NASCAR Performance Partners with the Car Care Council to Address Rising Fuel Costs
The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) and its NASCAR Performance Automotive Licensing Program are joining forces with the Car Care Council to launch the “Be an Angel, Maintain Your Car and Save Some Gas” consumer education campaign. The campaign, intended as a call to action to consumers, encourages more regular vehicle maintenance as the best way to get better fuel economy and beat high gas prices. NASCAR has produced a 30-second public service announcement (PSA) that will run during NASCAR programming throughout the month of July, in addition to being distributed to local TV stations across the country.
