STAUNTON, Va. – Federated Auto Parts recently reached a milestone with its Autoi Network by electronically connecting to 10,000 customers. This marks completion of the group’s initial goal for the new technology, according to Federated CEO Rusty Bishop, who added that the goal was accomplished at a faster rate than expected.

“We knew that Autoi was an impressive technology, but we have been pleasantly surprised by its remarkable rate of adoption by our customers,” said Bishop. “Although reaching 10,000 installers is an important and impressive accomplishment, we expect Autoi to continue its amazing growth well into the future.”

The Federated Autoi Network consists of online parts catalogs and ordering, job-quoting, technical reference material, labor guides, shop management tools and a myriad of other tools to assist shop owners and parts buyers in their day-to-day operations. The Federated Autoi Network was developed and is supported by MindQuest Inc.

“Federated Autoi is a collaborative effort between Federated’s suppliers, members and customers and it is the most advanced e-commerce product suite in the aftermarket,” said Bishop.  “We look forward to reaching the 20,000 mark in the very near future.  Federated Autoi is just getting revved up.”
