For the third consecutive year, Federal-Mogul has received a National Catalog Managers Association (NCMA) President’s Award for excellence in application data maintenance and electronic parts cataloging. The award was presented during the annual NCMA conference in Orlando, Fla., earlier this month.
Automotive Communications Council Elects Officers and Board
The Automotive Communications Council (ACC) elected new officers and members to its board of governors at its recent conference in Hollywood, Fla. Nearly 40 members attended the conference held at the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa near Miami Beach. Goodyear to Report 2003 4Q Results on May 19
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. said it would report fourth quarter 2003 financial results, plus details of its restatement of financial results for the years 1999-2003 on Wednesday, May 19. The report will be followed by an investor conference call at 9 a.m. Robert Keegan, chairman and CEO, and Robert Tieken, executive vice president and CFO, will participate in the conference call. They will also provide an outlook for the first quarter of 2004.

Two board members investigated internally for insider deals have resigned from auto supplier Collins & Aikman Corp. (C&A), which has lost money three years in a row, and on Thursday reported another first-quarter loss. The quarter’s red ink was slightly less than it was the same period a year ago.
Keith Kreft Awarded ETI Founder’s Award
Keith Kreft of Cupertino, Calif., was presented the Equipment and Tool Institute (ETI) Founder’s Award at the association’s recent board meeting. The Founder’s Award honors individuals who have demonstrated outstanding commitment and support of the Institute. It is ETI’s highest honor. Kreft is the 14th recipient of the award since it was established in 1985.
