MEMA Applauds Appointment of Nicole Nason as New NHTSA Administrator

The Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) has issued a statement congratulating Nicole Nason on her confirmation as administrator of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). “We at MEMA were heartened to hear Nason, during her confirmation hearing, reference the potential of technology to make our vehicles safer,” said Ann Wilson, vice president of government affairs for MEMA. “It is one of our top priorities to see that proven technology be used in America’s cars and trucks with the goal of reducing highway fatalities.
