Among the company’s other key products are DuPont Car Care appearance and performance chemicals, developed through a strategic product alliance with DuPont. Automotive Lift Institute Appoints Executive Vice President

R. W. (Bob) O’Gorman has joined the Automotive Lift Institute Inc. (ALI) as executive vice president. O’Gorman will succeed current president E.K. (Chic) Fox, who announced his plans to retire in April 2004. Fox was with the Automotive Lift Institute for 43 years.

The Dallas-based non-profit Automotive Oil Change Association (AOCA) has released a new training video, “Safety is No Accident,” designed to help fast lube businesses avoid the most frequent customer and employee injuries and claims.

It’s Not Too Late to Celebrate National Car Care Month

April is National Car Care Month (NCCM) and while it is now less than a month away, it’s not too late to get in the game. Car Care events last year provided startling results with ninety percent of vehicles that were inspected during National Car Care Month failing one or more aspects of the inspection, according to the Car Care Council. Sarah Fisher and Larry Hoofnagle to be Featured on C.A.R. Show

IRL IndyCar Series driver and Raybestos Safety Campaign spokesperson Sarah Fisher, and Larry Hoofnagle, director of marketing for Brake Parts Inc., will be featured on the C.A.R. Show radio program on Saturday, January 31. The broadcast will air between 9 – 11 a.m. EST. During the broadcast, Hoofnagle and Fisher will discuss the importance of vehicle maintenance and the need to educate consumers about taking proper care of their vehicle’s braking system through annual brake inspections, maintenance and repair.
