The Dallas-based non-profit Automotive Oil Change Association (AOCA) has released a new training video, “Safety is No Accident,” designed to help fast lube businesses avoid the most frequent customer and employee injuries and claims.

DALLAS, TX — The Dallas-based non-profit Automotive Oil Change Association (AOCA) has released a new training video, “Safety is No Accident,” designed to help fast lube businesses avoid the most frequent customer and employee injuries and claims.

Topics covered in the video include: keeping a professional attitude; clothing and safety equipment; guiding a customer or fellow employee into a bay; avoiding slips, falls and strains; ladder and lifting procedures; high pressure gun and spray dangers; using the right tool for the job; tire pressure and inspection; battery and radiator hazards; what to do in case of a fire; dangers of “horseplay;” and drugs and alcohol.

“Safety is No Accident” is professionally produced in both English and Spanish. It is designed for “first day” orientation for all new employees and as a regular refresher for the entire staff. “Safety is No Accident” is available in DVD or VHS format by calling (800) 331-0329 or by visiting AOCA’s Web site at www.aoca.org.
