AutoZone has created a new scholarship program focusing on automotive service technology. The $10,000 “AutoZone Future Technician Scholarship” will be managed and administered by SkillsUSA-VICA’s Youth Development Foundation (YDF). AutoZone intends to divide the scholarship incrementally to gold, silver and bronze medal winners of the SkillsUSA National Championships Automotive Service Technology contest held in Kansas City, Mo., on June 21.

Cooper Tire to Sponsor Saturn Motorsports Racing Program

Cooper Tire & Rubber and its subsidiary Mickey Thompson Performance Tires and Wheels, has announced a new sponsorship and supply agreement with Saturn Motorsports. The agreement positions Cooper Tire as a major associate sponsor of the Saturn Motorsports Pro FWD Ion, driven by three-time world champion and current NHRA point’s leader, Lisa Kubo.
