Automotive accessories manufacturer Lund International recently honored Price Automotive for its 52 years of service as the longest wholesale dealer for Lund’s AVS brand.

Lund International Names Director of Brand Management

Automotive accessories manufacturer Lund International has named Matthew Sturdevant as the company’s new director of brand management. Working within the company’s sales and marketing department, Sturdevant will be responsible for objectives, strategies and development of all products under the Lund and AVS brands.

Yokohama Tire Signs Distribution Agreement with American Car Care Centers

Yokohama Tire Corp. and American Car Care Centers (ACCC) have signed a distribution agreement through which Yokohama will provide ACCC’s members access to its full line of products. Yokohama will supply ACCC with its core products including the AVS, AVID and Geolandar lines of tires.

Edelbrock Launches Consumer Rebate Program

Edelbrock has launched a new consumer rebate program designed to help drivers “go fast and save cash.” Featuring Thunder Series AVS carburetors, plus mix-and-match Performer, EPS, RPM and Air-Gap manifold/carb packages, the rebate program is for specially marked Edelbrock products purchased from Apr. 20, 2004 to June 30 (one rebate redemption per household).

Lund International Announces Two Executive Appointments

Lund International has promoted Bob Schuetz to vice president of aftermarket sales. Schuetz joined Lund in October 2003 in the newly created position of vice president of new business development. Lund has also announced the appointment of John Whitten as director of sales engineering. Whitten brings with him 11 years of quality and product engineering, most recently working in automotive accessories on a contract basis for General Motors and DaimlerChrysler.
