Featuring Thunder Series AVS carburetors, plus mix-and-match Performer, EPS, RPM and Air-Gap manifold/carb packages, the rebate program is for specially marked Edelbrock products purchased from Apr. 20, 2004 to June 30 (one rebate redemption per household).

TORRANCE, CA — Edelbrock has launched a new consumer rebate program designed to help drivers “go fast and save cash.” Featuring Thunder Series AVS carburetors, plus mix-and-match Performer, EPS, RPM and Air-Gap manifold/carb packages, the rebate program is for specially marked Edelbrock products purchased from Apr. 20, 2004 to June 30 (one rebate redemption per household).

According to Steve Whipple, Edelbrock vice president of sales, consumers can get a $20 rebate on any AVS Thunder Series Carb purchase, or they can get $30 back by combining it with one of the following Edelbrock manifolds: Performer Series, Performer EPS, Performer RPM and Performer Air-Gap. Plus, there’s a $15 rebate when any of the manifolds are purchased with an Edelbrock Performer Series carburetor.

“If any consumer is serious about increasing performance with selected Edelbrock carbs and manifolds, this is a never-before opportunity to do so and save money,” Whipple said.

AVS Thunder Series carb part numbers in the rebate program include #1805, #1806, #1812, #1813, #1825 and #1826.

To get cash back, consumers will need to fill out and send in a special redemption form, along with a receipt and UPC label. Rebates will be returned by mail within six to eight weeks.

Whipple added that Edelbrock has a major marketing campaign based around the rebate program, including print and Web ads, special promotional literature and merchandise for retailers, plus giveaway materials for races and other consumer events. “This is a very special promotion,” Whipple said, “and we want to get the word out to both the consumer and retailer.”
