The University of the Aftermarket will offer two new three-hour business workshops on Monday, Oct. 29, at the Venetian Resort Hotel in Las Vegas. ArvinMeritor Provides Updated Financial Outlook

Yesterday at the Deutsche Bank Leveraged Finance Conference in Scottsdale, AZ, Mary Lehmann, ArvinMeritor’s treasurer and senior vice president, Strategic Initiatives, told investors that the company is revising its forecast for diluted earnings per share from continuing operations. Jim Donlon, executive vice president and chief financial officer, who also attended the conference, said the company is experiencing the results of a "weaker than anticipated economic environment" in its Commercial Vehicle Systems business group.

AMRA Announces Retirement of Larry Hecker

 The board of directors of the Automotive Maintenance and Repair Association (AMRA) has announced the retirement of Executive Director and President Larry Hecker. Hecker will step down effective June 30, 2008, after 14 years with the association.
