Annual CAWA Membership Dinner Offers Networking, Tradition and a Look at the Future of Tomorrow
On Sunday night, the California Nevada Automotive Wholesalers’ Association (CAWA) held its Annual Membership Dinner at The Palms hotel in Las Vegas. The event, raised approximately $4,000 for CAWA’s scholarship fund, according to Rodney Pierini, president and CEO of CAWA. Pierini added that CAWA will work with the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium to distribute scholarship funds to automotive students. Sponsored by Autologue Computer Systems and Delphi Product and Service Solutions, the annual event featured a number of speakers and presentations.The featured speaker at CAWA’s Annual Dinner Meeting was Frank Ordonez, president of Delphi Product and Service Solutions. In an entertaining and thought-provoking speech, Ordonez focused on three themes that he says will shape the future of the aftermarket: the consumer’s desire for safety, green initiatives and connectivity.
