Practical, Hands-on ‘Track’ Sessions Will Open 2008 Aftermarket eForum

BETHESDA, Md. – The 2008 Aftermarket eForum is less than a month away and will start on Monday afternoon, July 14, with three separate educational track sessions. New to the eForum this year, these practical, hands-on sessions will run concurrently from 1 pm to 4:30 pm and will include demonstrations of the latest technologies for data synchronization (PIM), electronic ordering and marketing on the Web.

The 2008 Aftermarket eForum, “Learn More, Earn More: Techniques & Tools for Growing Your Business,” will be held July 14-16 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Chicago.

Track 1 will focus on “How to Get Started with Product Information Management (PIM)” and will look in-depth at PIM which is emerging as an important technology to increase sales, accelerate product introduction and reduce the cost of collaborating with others in your distribution channel. This session will be led by Denise Keating of DATAgility and will feature Andy Fedun of Full Tilt; Jeff Marshall of Pricedex; and Paul Sirface of Stibo Catalog.

“Innovations in Jobber and Warehouse Management Systems” is the subject of Track 2 and will include leading system and solution providers with turn-key systems for jobber and warehouse operations to enable greater efficiencies. Facilitated by Nick DiVerde of Mitchell1, participants will include: Jim Grubbs, WHI Technologies; Jim Franco, Autologue; and Tony Jackson of Activant Solutions.

The final track session, “Stretching the ‘E’” will be led by Dan Jondron of Advanced Digital Strategies and will look at the application of technology to branding, loyalty and customer service. Participants will include Luanne Brown of eTool Developers and John Waraniak of SEMA.
