Uni-Select’s Brent Windom to Speak at 2008 MIS Council Fall Conference

Brent Windom, vice president of marketing and product management for Uni-Select USA, will present his company's technology strategies during a "Customer Spotlight" at the 2008 MIS Council Fall Conference Tuesday, Oct. 14, in Marco Island, Fla. Windom will discuss Uni-Select's technology environment, current e-commerce projects and future technology initiatives, especially in light of Uni-Select's recent acquisitions of Parts Depot and Beck/Arnley.

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Brent Windom, vice president of marketing and product management for Uni-Select USA, will present his company’s technology strategies during a "Customer Spotlight" at the 2008 MIS Council Fall Conference Tuesday, Oct. 14, in Marco Island, Fla.

Windom will discuss Uni-Select’s technology environment, current e-commerce projects and future technology initiatives, especially in light of Uni-Select’s recent acquisitions of Parts Depot and Beck/Arnley.

At Uni-Select, one of the largest automotive replacement parts distributors in the United States, Windom oversees all marketing and product management efforts in the U.S, executing strategic plans to develop creative, profitable, win-together solutions for the company and its customer base. With nearly 30 years in the automotive aftermarket, Windom’s areas of expertise include sales and marketing, business needs assessment, product implementation, training, e-business initiatives, inventory control, profit and loss accountability, relational databases and web-based technologies.

The MIS Council Fall Conference, slated for Sunday, Oct. 12, through Tuesday, Oct. 14, is the only industry event solely focused on the e-commerce and information technology issues facing suppliers.
