OBITUARY: MaddenCo Founder, Greg Madden, Dies

Greg Madden, 56, founder and owner of software supplier MaddenCo. Inc., passed away Oct. 24 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

Greg Madden, 56, founder and owner of software supplier MaddenCo. Inc., passed away Oct. 24 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

Madden earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from University of Evansville in 1974 and later earned a certified license in data processing.

He is survived by daughter Haleigh Madden of Evansville; companion Kim Angermeier and her children, Andrew Swanson and Will Angermeier of Henderson, Ky.; father, Allen Madden of Evansville; stepmother, Phyllis Barker of Evansville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy Edwards and her husband, Roger, of Evansville, Becky Craig and her husband, John, of Richardson, Texas; brother, Jeff Madden of Carnation, Wash.; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Catherine Boland, who spent more than 13 years as the Vice President of Legislative Affairs for MEMA, has taken a new role at LKQ, according to her LinkedIn.

There she will be serving as its Director of Government Affairs, which will keep her on the legislative and public policy side of advocating for the automotive aftermarket in Washington D.C.
