NAPA Crew Chief Club Visits Pocono, Pa., for Private Training Session

Larry McReynolds, Todd Berrier highlight fifth training event of 2009 season.

MCHENRY, Ill. — Not even the stormy weather that was about to roll into town could dampen enthusiasm at the NAPA Crew Chief Club Training Event held Thursday, July 30 at the Quality Inn in Pocono, Pa.

Featuring NASCAR on FOX commentator Larry McReynolds and NASCAR Crew Chief Todd Berrier, the Pocono event offered more than 60 technicians the opportunity to participate in a “Perfect Brake Job” training session with ASE/CASE certified technicians, as well as a chance to participate in an hour-long “Track Talk” Question & Answer session with McReynolds and Berrier.

As with 2009 events held in Phoenix, Ariz., Charlotte, N.C., Brooklyn, Mich., and Chicago, Ill., tickets for the private training event in Pocono were sold for $69 and included the 90-minute training seminar, the 60-minute Q&A with McReynolds and Berrier, an autographed Crew Chief Club hat, a Perfect Brake Job Training certificate and catered food and beverages.

“The Crew Chief Club continues to offer fun, informative environments that allow technicians to get together and learn about the exciting things NAPA is doing in the aftermarket,” said McReynolds. “I always look forward to interacting with the technicians during the question and answer session.”

From Pocono, the Crew Chief Club travels to Atlanta on Sept., 3, for a training event that will precede the Labor Day Classic 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Sept. 6. The Crew Chief Club also has events scheduled in 2009 for Kansas City, Kan., Fontana, Calif., and Homestead, Fla.
