WILLOWBROOK, Ill. — Midtronics has announced the addition of C. Richard Panico to its board of directors.

Panico founded Integrated Project Management Co. Inc. (IPM) in 1988 and is the firm’s current CEO and president. IPM is a project management consulting firm that provides on-site project leadership with extensive experience managing complex projects across highly regulated industries. IPM has been named to the Inc. Under Panico’s leadership, IPM pioneered best practices in the field of project management and currently serves a clientele ranging from Fortune 100 firms to start-ups.

"Rich’s valuable experience as the founder of IPM, and his success managing change for a variety of large organizations, will add new energy and additional competencies to the Midtronics board," said Steve McShane, president and CEO of Midtronics.

"Rich and I were both 2011 inductees into the Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame and I was impressed with his focus on integrating successful business practices with principles of quality, trust and honesty. Midtronics shares those values and both our companies have achieved similar growth and success over the last two decades. I welcome Rich to our board of directors and look forward to his knowledgeable input."

Founded in 1984, Midtronics remains singularly focused on advancing battery management, supplying customers with best-in-class diagnostic, charging and management solutions.
