LIMA, Ohio International coating solutions provider MetoKote Corp. has entered into a consulting services agreement with Foxmark International, a management services firm headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. Foxmark will assist MetoKote in expanding the company’s coating services with manufacturers based in the Asia-Pacific region.
“We chose Foxmark not only for their successful track record in delivering strategic alliances in Japan but for the company’s depth of internationally experienced executives who intimately understand the nuances of forging mutually beneficial partnerships in that region,” said MetoKote’s Global Vice President, Business Development Jeff Oravitz. “We’re looking forward to working with them on opening doors to new coating opportunities.”
Established in 1991, Foxmark (www.foxmark.co.jp) is comprised of experienced Western and Japanese executives who are uniquely positioned to support foreign companies in market entry and expansion endeavors. More recently, Foxmark has successfully fostered winning business accords in Japan for companies such as PepsiCo (2009), Ocean Spray (2009) and Oxford Analytica (2008).
“It is a privilege to work with excellent U.S. companies such as Metokote Corp., to expand their business goals and market reach through strategic alliances of good standing and mutual value,” said Foxmark Executive Vice President Phil Foxwell. “Foxmark is excited about the prospects for Metokote’s cutting-edge technology, processes and management systems in the whole coating industry, and has already seen responsiveness beyond expectations from Japanese corporations approached in this first quarter of working together.”
With more than 40 years of coating expertise, equipment design and technology-based support services, MetoKote says it has the capability of providing Asian manufacturers, in a wide array of industries, with technologically advanced, efficient coating lines with integrated quality and environmental monitoring systems that are customizable to their specific requirements.
“Increasing our business presence and relationships with manufacturers based in this critical region is an important strategic initiative for the company,” Oravitz added.
