MaxiForce Hires New Quality Control Director

Leading replacement parts company gains expertise in development and quality control.

MaxiForce, a leader in replacement diesel engine parts, has recently hired Ing. Juan Gallina to serve as director of Product Development and Quality Control. Gallina brings more than 16 years of experience in the quality and product development industry to the job.

“In our industry, experience is everything and our clients demand that we understand their needs in order to deliver the best service possible,” said Santiago Morales, CEO of MaxiForce.  “For this reason, we’re thrilled to have Juan on board, and I’m sure our clients will be as well.”

Most recently, Gallina served as turbocharger service coordinator for ABB Inc., where his responsibilities included supervising the service engineering group, training machinists and equipment calibration. He worked at ABB for nearly two years and gained a keen understanding of the manufacture and maintenance of turbochargers for 500kW to 80+ MW diesel and gas engines. Previously, he was the product development engineer at an aftermarket parts company for seven years.

Gallina attended graduate school at Florida International University pursuing a Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, also holds a degree with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Gallina acquired a taste for the industry from the start of his career, working in shipyards installing marine diesel engines more than 16 years ago.

“I’m thrilled to be joining MaxiForce, a company that is entrepreneurial in spirit, yet dedicates itself to unmatched reliability, efficiency and client service,” said Gallina.
