CLEVELAND, Ohio A lifelong car enthusiast with almost 20 years of sales experience, Chuck Clayton Jr. has just been named national sales representative for Maradyne High Performance Fans, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio.
Clayton is tasked with supervising Maradyne’s sales, marketing, technical support, customer relations, business and product development, as well as overseeing all manufacturer’s representative groups nationwide.
For six years, Clayton worked for All-Midwest Sales LLC, representing 25 different product lines, including Maradyne High Performance Fans, in North and South Carolina.
"Chuck has a clear understanding of Maradyne’s product line and goals, as well as a passion for the automotive aftermarket," said Joe Golla, DCM Manufacturing Inc.’s vice president of strategic planning and global sourcing. "We’re confident he will take on the challenge of increasing Maradyne’s market share."
Working in the automotive industry is a natural fit for Clayton, who restored his first car, a 1970 GTO, at 16 years old. In addition, he has set multiple records on the dry lakes as a Salt Flats racer and is also an accomplished Super Comp drag racer locally.
Earlier in his career, Clayton worked for MBNA America for 12 years as the company’s motorsports coordinator, where he was responsible for all aspects of race support. Most notably, Clayton worked with the Bill Davis No. 22 NASCAR team with driver Ward Burton.
Maradyne High Performance Fans is a brand owned by DCM Manufacturing Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Dreison International., Inc., which manufactures and sells air movement and air directional accessories and components serving the high performance, off-road equipment, agricultural machinery, heavy-duty truck, automotive, bus, RV, marine and military markets.
