Kerridge Commercial Systems Acquires Infomat

MAM Software's parent company, Kerridge Commercial Systems (KCS) adds to its growing list of business acquisitions.

Kerridge Commercial Systems (KCS), a leading provider of ERP software, services and support solutions for wholesale, distribution, rental and installation customers worldwide, recently announced its acquisition of Infomat.

This is an important strategic acquisition for KCS in Benelux and a positive development for Infomat. The company will continue to maintain and support its existing software solutions and introduce the benefits of the KCS portfolio to better support its customer base.

Ian Bendelow, CEO, Kerridge Commercial Systems, said: “Our acquisition of Infomat marks a new and exciting phase for both companies. Infomat is now part of an internationally successful group which focuses on the global trading and distribution market. Bringing Infomat into the KCS Group will strengthen and deepen our presence in this sector in Belgium and The Netherlands. We believe our extensive range of complementary solutions will enable us to better serve existing customers in the long term, while offering a very attractive portfolio to new customers.”

Stephan Van Bulck, CEO Infomat, commented: “Joining KCS marks a significant milestone for Infomat, its people and its customers. We have a strong technical and business functional team of 46 IT-professionals that in the future will be able to benefit from the knowledge and expertise of an international team of 1,100 specialists and can exchange ideas with them. There are so many things that attracted me in Kerridge Commercial Systems and how we complement each other is obvious: we share a focus on the same markets of trade, wholesale and distribution, like us KCS has a range of strong vertical solutions which can open doors for us to other geographic markets and verticals. I believe that we are driven by the same company values towards our people, customers and objectives. We don’t just join a large IT-company, but a worldwide ERP software company understanding exactly what we do.

“We will continue to invest in our solutions, further deepen our solutions for the professional tools and DIY sector, electrical wholesalers, car parts, HVAC, and other types of wholesalers, adding value to our customers.  We now have the opportunity to benefit from the international scale to bring these solutions to other markets. The larger product portfolio of KCS will also allow us to expand our own products with extra features and add-ons that benefits our existing customer base.”
