John Mosunic Named FleetPride CFO

Mosunic was most recently executive vice president, CFO and treasurer for General Parts International Inc. of Raleigh, N.C.

THE WOODLANDS, Texas — FleetPride Inc., one of the nation’s largest independent aftermarket distributors of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts, has appointed John Mosunic as chief financial officer (CFO). Mosunic will report to President and CEO Woody McGee.

Mosunic was most recently executive vice president, CFO and treasurer for General Parts International Inc. of Raleigh, N.C.

Mosunic comes to FleetPride Inc. after five years with General Parts International Inc., the second-largest wholesale supplier of automotive parts in North America, where he significantly decreased the cost of administration and dramatically improved the organization’s working capital. Prior to that, Mosunic worked for WORLDPAC Inc., a foreign auto parts importer and distributor. At WORLDPAC Mosunic held the positions of president and CFO. During his five years at WORLDPAC, Mosunic actively drove the company through an aggressive expansion effort. Mosunic also brings experience in the semiconductor, accounting and consulting industries.

"John is a strong leader with nearly two decades of experience in distribution, operations and process improvement. His extensive experience in helping fast-growing companies strengthen their financial value to meet business goals will be a tremendous asset to FleetPride as we continue to expand our national footprint," said McGee.

Mosunic, a CPA, received his bachelor of science degree in accounting and finance from California State University, Sacramento, and a master of business administration from Saint Mary’s College.
