Jay Sloan Promoted To Director Of Customer Service And Marketing Of TODCO

Sloan's new role includes increased responsibility for marketing and product management to support the company’s sales growth initiatives.

TODCO, transportation division of Overhead Door Corp. and manufacturer of roll-up doors, swing doors and walk ramps for the trucking industry, has promoted Jay Sloan from the manager of customer service and IT to the director of customer service and marketing. Sloan’s extensive knowledge of TODCO’s markets, customers, products, and operations make him well suited for this key role that bridges market and customer needs with engineering and operations. The announcement was made recently by Joe Owen, president of TODCO.

In addition to his current functions in customer service and information technology, the new role includes increased responsibility for marketing and product management to support the company’s sales growth initiatives.

Sloan joined TODCO in production assembly at the Marion, Ohio, factory just over 15 years ago. He has progressed his career at TODCO with roles such as order entry, rule writer, district sales manager for the Ohio Valley, oracle implementation project manager, IT manager and customer service manager.
