James ‘Jim’ Guy Joins National Pronto Association

Guy brings more than 30 years of experience in the automotive industry to the role, most recently as purchasing director for past Pronto member Frank’s Auto Supply in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.

James “Jim” Guy Jr. has joined National Pronto Association as director of product management, effective Oct. 17. Guy brings more than 30 years of experience in the automotive industry to the role, most recently as purchasing director for past Pronto member Frank’s Auto Supply in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. Guy’s automotive experience includes sales, marketing, operations, purchasing and counter sales.

pronto-jim-guyGuy spent more than 20 years at Frank’s Auto Supply and was an integral part of the daily business and success of the company. He was responsible for developing cost-savings techniques and creating the “Road Crew” Professional Countermen Training program. Guy volunteered his time over the years as a product committee member for both the RPM Group and National Pronto Association.

Bill Maggs, president and CEO of National Pronto, said, “We are extremely happy to bring a talent such as Jim into the Pronto Headquarters family. Jim will be a significant asset to our membership and the entire organization.”

Guy commented, “I feel very privileged to be joining an organization that prides itself in serving the needs of its members. I’m looking forward to utilizing my 30-plus years of experience in the automotive aftermarket to continue this effort.”
