HDA Truck Pride Restructuring, Welcomes New Faces

Transitions started in May with Tina Hubbard being appointed president and CEO.

2020 has been a year of transition for many, but at HDA Truck Pride, it started in May with Tina Hubbard being appointed president and CEO. Enter quarantine, new business practices, a world of unknown sales forecasts and a restructuring of key personnel; and 2020 has proven to be filled with challenges and successes alike.

August brought the addition of Tim Shaw who will serve as director of product management, responsible for supplier relationships. Shaw joins HDA Truck Pride after a 29-year career with Haldex. His previous roles range from technical advisor to managing the entire remanufacturing process and life cycle. As a result, he is well-versed in sales, marketing, data analytics and strategic planning.

Hubbard rounds out her executive leadership team with the addition of Clint Carter as chief commercial officer. Carter joins the team after six years with Jim Hawk Truck Trailer Inc. in Omaha, and 11 years prior to that with Northeast Great Dane. His strengths include inventory management, financial leadership, and development of strategic initiatives and partnerships.

Restructuring changes also include the promotion of John Lurz from director of IT to VP of technology. Lurz has spent the last three years with HDA Truck Pride upgrading technology systems and implementing improved processes to streamline everything from finance to inventory control. The ultimate goal is for HDATP to become paperless by 2023.

“To say it’s been a year of change is an understatement,” says Tina Hubbard, president and CEO of HDA Truck Pride. “I’m excited and grateful to be adding this caliber of talent to our team. As we prepare for an unpredictable new year, our team has the strength and agility to face whatever the future brings.”
