Hankook Tire Continues with Popular ‘Great Catch’ and ‘Great Hit’ Promotions

The grand prize winner of the 2012 Great Catch rebate and giveaway is announced, as well as details of the 2012 Great Hit promotion.

WAYNE, N.J. – Hankook Tire America Corp. has announced that Jill Moore of Evanston, Ill., is the winner of the company’s Spring 2012 ‘Great Catch’ grand prize, a 2012 MINI Cooper S Convertible. In addition, Hankook’s Fall 2012 ‘Great Hit’ rebate and car giveaway promotion will be kicked off on Sept. 1 with a chance for one lucky participant to win a 2012 Volkswagen Passat TDI SEL Premium.
 
Hankook says its ongoing rebate and giveaway programs have been well-received by consumers for years and have been a strong component of the company’s consumer engagement and marketing strategies. These programs, along with Hankook’s baseball and college basketball advertising, motorsports marketing and Times Square billboard, have boosted brand recognition for the company, contributing to its growing success in the U.S. market.
 
“Our ongoing Great Catch and Great Hit promotions and mail-in rebates have been instrumental in our efforts to engage consumers in new and relevant ways. Moore was randomly selected as the winner of Hankook Tire’s 2012 ‘Great Catch’ giveaway. Lee presented the wife and working mother of two children with the key to a 2012 MINI Cooper S Convertible on Thursday, Aug. 30 at an event held at Waukegan Tire, one of Hankook’s dealers, in Park City, Ill.
 
The ‘Great Hit’ giveaway, which launches Sept. 1, will award one lucky winner with a 2012 Volkswagen Passat TDI SEL Premium. Consumers can register for this no purchase necessary giveaway promotion online at www.hankooktireusa.com/greathit2012 now until Nov. 30. Upon registering, consumers will be automatically entered into a random drawing to win the promotion’s grand prize 2012 Volkswagen Passat TDI SEL Premium.
 
Additionally, consumers who purchase four qualifying Hankook tires from an authorized Hankook dealer between Sept. 1 and Nov. 30 are eligible for a mail-in rebate of up to $80. The tires included in the rebate program are the Ultra-High Performance Hankook Ventus V12 evo, the Ultra-High Performance All-Season Ventus V4 ES, the Luxury Performance Touring All-Season Hankook Optimo H426, the Performance Touring All-Season Hankook Optimo H727 and the Premium High All-Season Dynapro HT light truck tire.
