Hankook Tire announced key executive changes at its North America headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee, demonstrating its commitment to the U.S. market. Kyuwang (Ken) Cho has been appointed as the vice president of U.S. passenger car and light truck sales (PC/LT), taking charge of the overall market, while K.C. Jensen has been named vice president of PC/LT sales, focusing on the West region and other strategic initiatives.
Rob Williams, president of Hankook Tire America Corp., highlighted the importance of these appointments for the company’s growth in the U.S. “As we focus on continued growth in the U.S., Ken and K.C. each bring unique strengths to driving sales in the region,” he said. “Ken offers a global perspective and expertise in both sales and strategic market growth that will continue our upward trajectory. K.C.’s leadership, strategic vision and dedication will help cement Hankook’s position as a leader in the PC/LT segment. We look forward to seeing Ken and K.C. work together to help us achieve further market penetration across the U.S.”
In his role, Cho will oversee the passenger car/light truck (PC/LT) market segment, leveraging his global expertise and localized strategies, Hankook said. He previously served as vice president of global sales for Hankook in Korea, where he spearheaded international market expansion and strategic sales initiatives. With over 25 years of experience at Hankook, Cho brings a comprehensive understanding of various market dynamics to his new position.
Jensen will concentrate on sales in the West region and lead strategic projects that align with Hankook’s growth ambitions in the U.S. He joined Hankook in 2018 and will collaborate closely with Cho to advance the company’s regional and overall organizational objectives.
