Hankook Names Pae To Head European Operation

Pae has been promoted from his previous role in the company as marketing and sales executive. He also will take on the position of senior vice president and member of the board of Hankook Tire Co.

Ho-Youl Pae has been announced as the new COO of Hankook Tire Europe, following former COO Jin-Wook Choi’s move to a consultancy role within the manufacturer’s global headquarters.
 
Pae has been promoted from his previous role in the company as marketing and sales executive. He also will take on the position of senior vice president and member of the board of Hankook Tire Co.
 
Having joined the company in 1986, Pae became junior manager sales and marketing for Hankook Reifen Deutschland in 1989. He moved to European level in 1995, when he became manager marketing strategy for Hankook Tire Europe, following this with six years with Hankook Tire America Corp. as team manager marketing and then president and COO.
 
In 2010, he returned to South Korea as vice president of global marketing and sales, before taking up the position of senior vice president of marketing strategy planning in 2012. (Tyres & Accessories)
