Gentex Promotes Bruce Los to Senior Vice President

Los has been with Gentex since 2004, leading the company's human resources group. In his new role, he has responsibility for facilities, the travel/flight department and human resources.

ZEELAND, Mich. – Gentex Corp., the Zeeland, Mich.-based manufacturer of automatic-dimming rearview mirrors and camera-based lighting-assist and driver-assist systems for the automotive industry, commercial fire protection products and dimmable aircraft windows, today announced that Human Resources Vice President Bruce Los has been promoted to senior vice president.

Los has been with Gentex since 2004, leading the company’s human resources group. In his new role, he has responsibility for facilities, the travel/flight department and human resources — groups that provide global infrastructure support for the company’s employees.

"Bruce has been a great asset to Gentex," said Gentex chairman and CEO Fred Bauer. "He and his team have worked hard to find the best people to help build our organization, and to help maintain the cultural ‘foundations’ that have been a key to the company’s success. He has also been providing leadership in other areas of the company and is currently assisting in the information technology area as we refine our global infrastructure," said Bauer.

Los began his career in 1977 at Prince Corp., acquired by Johnson Controls Inc. in 1996, serving in various leadership positions, including vice president of human resources. Los holds a bachelors degree in Economics from Calvin College (Grand Rapids, Mich.). He serves on many local volunteer boards.
