Workers from Tires Plus in Plant City, Fla., have taken action to help a local man clear more than 1,000 tires that had been illegally dumped on his property.

According to local reports, three men illegally dumped more than 1,000 tires on John Moseley’s 200-acre property. He found them after checking on a cut in his barbed-wire fence.

Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies caught and arrested three men dumping the tires, but Moseley was tasked with cleaning it all up. He initially reached out to Hillsborough County for help, but authorities said they are not responsible for anything dumped on private property, reports said.

After seeing Moseley’s plea for help, workers from Tires Plus reached out to him. A crew came to get rid of the piles, hauling them away to be recycled. Jeremy Persinger, vice president of sales and marketing for Tires Plus, told local media, "Tires like these can be used in playgrounds. We actually use them in sidewalks from our new stores that we build."

Tires Plus workers picked up the tires – and the $7,500 bill to pay for it. Moseley told local media, "This just like one of those TV shows where they do that home makeover. Where people just show up and totally redo something for somebody and that’s exactly how I feel."
