NOVI, MI — Scott Finch and Timothy Hefferon have been appointed vice presidents at Cooper Standard Automotive Inc.’s Novi, Mich., world headquarters.
Finch has been appointed vice president and treasurer. In his new assignment, he will direct the management of the Global Treasury operations unit, including cash management, debt funding, Foreign Exchange and risk management. He will report to CFO Allen Campbell.
He was most recently employed at American Electric Power Corp. as the director of corporate finance where he was responsible for the management of banking relationships, financial compliance and corporate/debt ratings. Finch earned his MBA from the University of Michigan Business School, and his JD from the Vanderbilt University School of Law. He earned his BGS from the College of Literature, Science and Arts at the University of Michigan.
Hefferon has been appointed as vice president general counsel. In his new role, he will be responsible for all legal affairs globally for Cooper Standard Automotive, Inc. and will report directly to CEO James McElya.
He most recently held the position of deputy general counsel at Thyssen Krupp/The Budd Co.
