Exco Sells its Paint Lasing Business

Exco Technologies Limited, which serves the die-cast, extrusion and automotive industries, has sold its paint lasing business to Emerald Graphics, a private North American automotive interior decorative supplier. The asset sale took effect Aug. 30.

TORONTO — Exco Technologies Limited, which serves the die-cast, extrusion and automotive industries, has sold its paint lasing business to Emerald Graphics, a private North American automotive interior decorative supplier. The asset sale took effect Aug. 30.

The sale marks the conclusion of Exco’s efforts to exit the paint and lasing business, which was previously announced on June 14, when the business was classified as a discontinued operation.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The financial results of the sale will be reported in the company’s fourth quarter results and are not expected to be materially different from those previously estimated.
