STUTTGART, Germany – Held for the first time in June 2014, the UNITI expo has established its position as one of the leading trade fairs for the retail petroleum sector in Europe. Now, event organizers report they are planning to further refine the trade fair’s successful formula for the next UNITI expo, scheduled to take place from June 14-16, 2016, in Stuttgart, Germany, tailoring the event to the needs of its target audience.
The UNITI expo will move to Halls 1 and 3 in the north wing of the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre in 2016. According to the event organizers, this will increase the available exhibition space by 54,000 square feet to a total of 325,000 square feet. At 220,000 square feet, Hall 1 is the largest hall in the Exhibition Centre. By using this hall, the intention is to keep the trade fair compact and the routes through it short, despite the larger total exhibition space. This space will be divided into themed areas in order to give visitors a better overview of everything on offer.
Organizers of the UNITI expo encourage companies from key regions, such as the North America, Latin America, Asia and the Middle East, to take part in the 2016 event. UNITI expo offers exhibitors and attendees educational seminars and a compact three-day expo format that focuses on key product areas within the retail petroleum section. Attendees of the 2014
UNITI expo included oil companies, fuel retailers, forecourt and carwash operators, as well as distributors, importers, service and construction companies related to the petroleum retail and convenience store industry.
In response to attendee feedback, the presentation rooms will be integrated directly into the themed areas across the exhibition halls. This will significantly reduce the walking distance to seminars and presentations that can be attended for free.
The organizers announced that an exhibition party complete with dinner and entertainment will take place on the first evening of UNITI expo. Unlike the exhibitor evening in 2014, exhibitors will be able to invite not only their teams but also visitors to attend.
Elmar Kühn, CEO of UNITI-Kraftstoff GmbH, expressed his confidence that
UNITI expo 2016 would meet the needs of the industry better than ever thanks to the planned changes: “Based on the experience we have gained and valuable feedback from exhibitors and visitors, we have refined the UNITI expo concept and are convinced that we can build on the success of 2014 and increase the appeal of the 2016 event even more. As a result, UNITI expo 2016 will provide the ideal setting to network, exchange ideas with other experts and discuss exciting projects.”
