KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Eaton Corp. has introduced its next generation heavy-duty clutch family. The line comes with service intervals and warranty coverage that the company says are up to twice those available on current clutch offerings.
The new Advantage Series clutches feature numerous product improvements and enhancements that allow for new 50,000-mile service intervals replacing current 25,000-mile intervals, and a new two-year/unlimited mileage aftermarket warranty replacing the current one-year/unlimited mileage warranty.
Eaton also will continue offering customers two 15.5-inch heavy-duty clutch options, with the new manually adjusted Eaton Easy Pedal Advantage clutch replacing the Eaton Easy Pedal clutch, and the new self-adjusting Eaton Solo Advantage clutch replacing the Eaton Solo clutch.
“The clutch plays a very important role in the overall value of any heavy-duty vehicle,” said John Beering, vice president/general manager clutch and aftermarket for Eaton. “With that in mind, we developed our new Advantage Series clutches to help ensure consistent, trouble-free and long-lasting service that is well reflected with the new service intervals and new warranty coverage that we can now offer our customers. Eaton is already widely regarded as the leading supplier of clutches to the North American trucking industry. This newest addition to our product portfolio will certainly enhance that position.”
The new Advantage Series is available now for new truck orders and through the aftermarket. For more information, click here.
