Duraline Pres-On Abrasives Inc., LLC and Future Abrasives Co. recently merged to form Global Abrasive Products Inc. (GAP), a service-driven abrasive supply and manufacturing company. This merger makes Global Abrasive Products Inc. one of the largest abrasive convertors in the U.S.

ALPHARETTA, GA — Duraline Pres-On Abrasives Inc., LLC and Future Abrasives Co. recently merged to form Global Abrasive Products Inc. (GAP), a service-driven abrasive supply and manufacturing company. This merger makes Global Abrasive Products Inc. one of the largest abrasive convertors in the U.S.

“This was a strategic business move made between friends and industry peers,” said Seitz, president of Future Abrasives in Alpharetta, Ga.

“We believe the opportunity exists to create a strong and stable organization capable of growth in a mature industry,” said John Sidebottom, president of Duraline Pres-On Abrasives, which operates manufacturing and distribution facilities in Lockport, N.Y. and Addison, IL.

GAP’s three converting plants produce a full range of coated belts to 64”, nonwoven belts, one of the largest offerings of adhesive backed & hook/loop discs, a full line of specialties including cross pads, square pads, flap discs, quick change discs and many others. The company also carries a large inventory of finished goods such as cutoff and grinding wheels, sticks, stones, fibre discs, shop rolls, floor products, flapwheels and many other items.
