DCi, An ARI Company, Adds PIESfree To CatalogRack

The company says PIESfree makes information for more than 1.5 million products from the industry’s leading brands available to CatalogRack users.

DCi, an ARI company, announced that its PIESfree service has been added to DCi’s CatalogRack. Both services are available to all retailers, jobbers and dealers in the automotive aftermarket at no cost.

DCi - LogoPIESfree allows resellers to download product data that is Product Information Exchange Standard (PIES)‐compliant to their business management system. The company says PIESfree makes information for more than 1.5 million products from the industry’s leading brands available to CatalogRack users. The data includes descriptions, dimensional data, pricing and shipping codes. In addition, users will receive weekly reports alerting them to new part numbers, descriptions and pricing from all of these leading manufacturers.

“We made the decision to add PIESfree to CatalogRack to ensure that resellers had access to the base product data that drives their businesses,” said Mark Toebben, DCi vice president and general manager. “Our industry’s data is in a constant state of change. We’re confident that the reporting feature will enable resellers to keep up on these changes and increase speed‐to‐market for everyone.”

Designed as an alternative to paper catalogs, CatalogRack users have access to product catalogs for the industry’s leading manufacturer brands. Since 2001, CatalogRack has delivered an online accessories and performance parts database with more than 165 million vehicle applications to more than 4,000 independent jobbers and dealers throughout North America.

Resellers interested in signing up for CatalogRack should visit catalograck.com. Manufacturers interested in having their product data added to CatalogRack should call 515-276-0442, ext. 137.
