Dayco Names Gordon Hensley Senior Vice President Of RD&E And Program Management

In this role, Hensley will manage the company’s global engineering and program management functions from Dayco’s corporate headquarters in Troy, Michigan.

Dayco-2015-LogoDayco has announced that Gordon Hensley has joined the company as senior vice president of research, development and engineering (RD&E) and program management.

Hensley, joins Dayco with more than 25 years of experience in the automotive industry. Most recently, Gordon served as the global director of program management for Magna Powertrain, where he led all Fluid Pressure and Controls Group programs worldwide, increased group profitability and integrated two acquisitions, among other achievements. Hensley has also worked for The Gates Corp., Ford Motor Co. and Ricardo Consulting Engineers.

“Gordon is a very capable general manager with expertise in R&D, manufacturing, commercialization and disciplined program management. He also has strong experience in launching new businesses and integrating acquisitions,” said John Bohenick, CEO for Dayco. “We’re excited to have Gordon join the Dayco team and look forward to his enthusiasm and high energy accelerating our focus on improving how our customers’ world moves by delivering high value products, systems and solutions to our customers with flawless launches.”
