Cottman has announced a brand new and revolutionary mobile car repair and maintenance service program aimed at people in need of car repairs or service but with schedules so busy it makes waiting for car repairs a hassle. Customer convenience has always been one of Cottman’s highest priorities and this is the reason that Cottman has decided to launch its new mobile car repair service. This new mobile service takes the automotive repair shop away from the limits of a physical store location to a place where it is truly convenient for their customers; where they work, play and go to school.

This first mobile unit has been launched as a pilot program in the Cincinnati market under the control of one of Cottman’s senior franchisees, Nick Carpinello. According to Nick, "we are in a new era of customer convenience and it’s this type of customer first mentality that drives this business". Nick added, "Customers have busier, more hectic lives than ever and if we can provide a solution to sitting and waiting for your car to be serviced, that’s something that will resonate with our customers".

The goal of the mobile services program is to schedule a group of customers at the same location. For example, Cottman has already arranged to bring field based car services to proactive employers in the Cincinnati area as well as office parks and shopping malls. "There is definitely a need for this new business segment in the automotive aftermarket industry, claims Allen Sinclair, Cottman’s President. Sinclair continues, "Cottman has always been at the forefront of providing superior customer service. This new service is yet another commitment from Cottman to put our customers first, by servicing our customer on their terms, not ours".

In support of the mobile services launch, Cottman has designed a dedicated website with on-line scheduling, a dedicated toll-free phone number plus a host of new print, online and television advertising materials.

After the initial test period in the Cincinnati market, Cottman will evaluate other strategic markets to launch similar programs.
