Continental Tire the Americas Promotes Andrew Slattery

Slattery has taken on new responsibilities managing the Southeast Region in the dealer channel for the Passenger and Light Truck (PLT) Replacement U.S. team. In his new role, Slattery will be responsible for managing the team that has distributor and dealer responsibility. He will report directly to Sean McDermaid, who recently moved to the position of leading the Dealer Group field sales team for PLT.

FORT MILL, S.C. – Continental Tire the Americas has promoted Andrew Slattery to a new position within its Passenger and Light Truck (PLT) – U.S. Replacement unit.
 
Slattery has taken on new responsibilities managing the Southeast Region in the dealer channel for the PLT Replacement U.S. team. In his new role, Slattery will be responsible for managing the team that has distributor and dealer responsibility. He will report directly to Sean McDermaid, who recently moved to the position of leading the Dealer Group field sales team for PLT.
 
“We are happy to announce the promotion of Andrew Slattery,” said Jim Sicking, director of independent dealer sales PLT Replacement Business Unit for Continental Tire.  “Andrew has a clear understanding of Continental’s business model and is a great asset to our team. We are confident Andrew will contribute significantly to our team as we continue to grow our business in the U.S. market.”
 
Slattery has spent the past 18 months on a special assignment for Continental. Prior to that, he was an area dealer manager within the Dealer Channel for the U.S. PLT Replacement Business Unit. Slattery has been with Continental since June of 2001 and graduated from the Indiana University – Kelley School of Business.
