Computerworld Names Accuride’s Paul Wright A “Premier 100 Technology Leader”

Wright leads Accuride’s global information technology group with responsibility for the company’s IT systems, network and infrastructure. He has been principally responsible for developing and implementing the project plan for standardization of business processes and systems across multiple ERP systems into Plex as a cloud-based, cross-company ERP solution.

Computerworld - LogoAccuride Corp.,­ a leading supplier of components to the global commercial vehicle industry , has announced that Paul Wright, the company’s director of IT Systems & Plex, has been named a 2016 Premier 100 Technology Leaders honoree by IDG’s Computerworld. He is among 100 leaders from technology and business being acknowledged by Computerworld for exceptional technology leadership and innovative approaches to business challenges. The honorees will be recognized during a March 2016 awards ceremony at the AGENDA Conference, co-produced by CIO, Computerworld and the CIO Executive Council.

Wright has served as director of IT Systems & Plex for Accuride since August 2013 and reports to Dauch. He leads Accuride’s global information technology group with responsibility for the company’s IT systems, network and infrastructure. Wright has been principally responsible for developing and implementing the project plan for standardization of business processes and systems across multiple ERP systems into Plex as a cloud-based, cross-company ERP solution. Wright joined Accuride in June 2012 as director of manufacturing systems, from American Axle and Manufacturing (AAM). His eight-year career in operations with AAM included developing and implementing the launch plan for Plex ERP systems at AAM business units. Wright began his career with Michigan-based automotive supplier Metaldyne. He earned a Diploma of Industrial Studies (DIS) and a master’s of mechanical engineering, manufacturing and management, from the University of Birmingham, Birmingham, United Kingdom. Wright is a member of the Plex Customer Advisory Board and, together with Accuride, received the Plex 2015 Impact Award for Transformation.
