NEW ALBANY, OH — Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc., a supplier to the heavy truck, construction, agriculture and marine industries, recently announced the creation of three specialized product divisions designed to realign their companies by product segment. The realignment will include the creation of an interior systems division, an electrical/mechanical division and a structures division.
The CVG Interior Systems Division (ISD) will be led by Kenneth Bush, vice president and general manager of Trim Systems. ISD will include the CVG flagship companies of National Seating, KAB North America Seating and Trim Systems.
Sprague Devices, and the newly acquired Monona Wire, will fall under the CVG Electrical/Mechanical Division (EMD). Mayflower Vehicle Systems will be placed in the CVG Structures Division (SD). Monona Wire President Bob Carter will head up the EMD and Gordon Boyd, president of CVG international, will continue to lead the CVG Structures Division.
“We’re always looking for avenues to anticipate and meet the needs of our customers. This strategic alignment allows CVG to zoom in and focus on product groups while building on our culture of innovation, excellence and comprehensive product offerings,” said Jerry Armstrong, president of CVG Americas.
