CIMS Unveils Free Mobile App For E-Tire Registration

The app will give CIMS' tire dealer clients the ability to access their e-tire registration online accounts from their mobile devices.

AKRON, Ohio – CIMS, a privately owned, independent company that provides products and services to tire manufacturers, private brand owners and tire dealers to facilitate the entire tire registration process, has released a mobile app for iPad, iPhone and iPod users.

The app will give CIMS’ tire dealer clients the ability to access their e-tire registration online accounts from their mobile devices.

“CIMS always has strived to make the tire registration process as convenient and economical as possible for the tire dealers,” said Susan Kruder, president of CIMS. “We believe a mobile app is a fast and efficient way to enable tire dealers to streamline the tire registration process.”

CIMS tire dealer clients can download the mobile app for free at the Apple iTunes store. By utilizing their mobile devices to register every tire sold, tire dealers will no longer have to manually write down the DOT serial numbers, take them to a computer terminal and then enter them on the E-Tire Registration site. With CIMS’ mobile app, tire dealers will minimize the number of times the DOT serial numbers are recorded. This helps to reduce the chances of errors and eliminates duplication in the tire registration process.
