Christian Bros. Donates Oil Changes, Repairs

The brand celebrated its 13th-annual National Service Day, an initiative aimed at giving back to community members in need.

Christian Brothers Automotive said it remains rooted in its mission to “Love your neighbor as yourself.” On October 14th, the brand celebrated its 13th-annual National Service Day, an initiative aimed at giving back to community members in need.

“National Service Day is an annual opportunity for Christian Brothers Automotive shops across the country to come together and give back to the communities we serve,” said Donnie Carr, president and CEO of Christian Brothers Automotive. “Our commitment to this cause grows stronger each year, and this year holds particular significance. We are truly fortunate to be able to provide oil changes and safety repairs to those facing hardships, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated franchise owners and their teams for breathing life into our National Day of Service for over 13 years.”

Christian Brothers’ National Day of Service was originally created by a franchisee in Austin, Texas, in 2005 as a meaningful way to contribute to the community through a dedicated service day. In 2010, what initially began as a day devoted to offering complimentary oil changes to single mothers and other community members in need was formally adopted as a company-wide service event. Fast forward a decade, and National Service Day has evolved into a pivotal aspect of the brand, celebrated annually on the second Saturday of October, Christian Brothers Automotive said.
